What to send so the quote comes back right the first time
A bus quote is arithmetic, and the arithmetic needs five inputs. Send these and you will get a firm number rather than a range:
- The date and the return time. Not just the day — whether the vehicle comes back at 9 pm or 2 am decides whether you pay one day of driver bata or two.
- The pickup area, not just the city. Whitefield at 8 am and Electronic City at 8 am are different departure plans, and on a Friday evening they are different prices.
- Confirmed headcount, plus 10 to 15%. The class we send is decided by the number who actually board, and a 45-seater running 30 people is money wasted.
- Whether the route crosses a state border. Ooty, Wayanad and Goa carry an entry tax that a Karnataka-only trip does not.
- Your GST position. If you are GST-registered we will usually quote the 12% invoice with input credit, which nets out cheaper than 5% without it.

- Quote a headline per-km figure that ignores the return leg and the daily minimum
- Hide driver bata, permits or entry tax until the driver asks for cash
- Promise a vehicle we have not confirmed is free on your date
- Charge a percentage of your spend — our fee is a flat figure agreed before you book

The Bengaluru yard address is confirmed on your written quote along with the garage-to-garage distance to your pickup point, because that distance is part of what you are billed and you should be able to check it before you agree to anything.
Questions we answer daily
How quickly will I get a quote?
Within 2 working hours of receiving the date, pickup area, headcount and return time. Employee-transport contracts and multi-coach conference movements take longer, usually one working day, because the routing has to be built before it can be priced.
What are your office hours?
The desk answers 6 am to 11 pm every day including Sundays, because coaches roll before dawn and come back after midnight. Outside those hours use WhatsApp and you will have a reply by 6 am.
Do you take a deposit?
An advance confirms the vehicle and the date; the balance falls due on completion. The exact percentage and the cancellation terms are stated in your written quote before you pay anything, and they differ between a one-day charter and a 12-month contract.
Can I see the bus before I book?
Yes, and for a wedding, a school trip or a contract you should. Tell us which class you are considering and we will arrange a viewing at the yard rather than send a photograph of a vehicle that may not be the one that turns up.
Do you quote GST at 5% or 12%?
Both, so you can choose. A GST-registered company is usually better off on the 12% invoice because the input tax credit makes the net cost lower than 5% without credit. On ₹1,00,000 of hire the net is about ₹1,00,000 at 12% with credit against ₹1,05,000 at 5% without it.
Do you handle bookings outside Karnataka?
We run out of Bengaluru to Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa and Andhra Pradesh, with the inter-state entry tax priced into the quote. For a trip starting in Chennai rather than Bengaluru, our sister operation at chennaibusrentals.com is the right desk.
